The Dark Blue Stone (bottom left)
A cornerstone is the principal foundational stone placed at the corner of a structure to guide its alignment, strength, and integrity. For us, Jesus Christ is that cornerstone. We believe that Christ is our church’s indispensable foundation—providing our community with clear direction, unwavering stability, and true unity.
Cross of Christ
Jesus Christ’s death on the cross has fully paid for all our sins. Furthermore, through Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, all things are made new. Therefore, the cross permeates everything we do as a church. We are called to share the good news of salvation and bring Christ’s transformative love to every corner of creation.
Remaining Stones
Though sinful by nature, through Jesus Christ’s foundation and sacrifice, we are transformed into living stones. Cornerstone CRC seeks to be built up into a spiritual house and a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Together, we are called to declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light. — 1 Peter 2:5-9
